Biskota is the Greek word for biscuits. In Crete, almonds and other nuts are traditionally used to make local biscuits. They are one of the favorites of Greek pastry due to their delicacy and nutritional value. Serve with tea, coffee, wine, or on a cheeseboard.

Petits Grecs, based in Thessaloniki, Greece, started with a woman passionate about delicious Greek treats that accompany everyday life and social occasions. Having traveled throughout Greece, the owner of Petits Grecs gained an understanding of local customs and cuisines. Her goal was to make homemade Greek treats known throughout the world by using new recipes based on local traditions. It was this vision that brought Petits Grecs to life and introduced traditional Greek pastry-making to the world. Just right for a friend

These biscuits were for a friend who doesn't have the sweet tooth that I have. When I was offered one in the shop, I knew they'd be her cup of tea.. and they'd go well with a cup of tea which she enjoys every day. I was right! She and her husband loved them.
