Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches


  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons Nashville Hot Chicken Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Hot Sauce (or Peri Peri Sauce)
  • 6 whole wheat hoagie or hamburger buns
  • 6 slices low sodium Swiss cheese
  • 1 small head of cabbage, sliced very thin
  • Chunky bleu cheese dressing



  1. Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker.
  2. Add the hot sauce and the Nashville Hot Chicken Seasoning.
  3. Mix to coat the chicken breasts.
  4. Cover, cook on low for 6-7 hours.
  5. Shred cooked chicken with a fork.
  6. Serve on buns with 1 slice of swiss cheese, cabbage and 2 Tablespoons Bleu Cheese Dressing on each sandwich.
