Pesto alla Genovese

When my garden is in full summer abundance I make my own pesto. When I don't, this is my new go to! It's outrageously delicious for grilled chicken pesto pasta. And unlike many jarred pesto sauces, this one includes real olive oil and pine nuts (mixed with cashews). A pantry staple!

This is something I never tried but it is great on pasta and with a nice glass of wine.
